  • Condition: This cleaver has long been a favorite, heavy enough Apprx 2 lbs and thickest is 1/4 ", cleaver has no mushrooming on the spline, no gauges on the edge, BEAUTIFUL patina on the blade, copper booster and ferrule with more than likely a Walnut handle with an incredible grain pattern.There are little nicks out of the handle that do not interfere with it's function, it is tight.The blade is shaped so one can "choke up" for more leverage.I have used this cleaver for more than 20 years, taken great care of it.the blade is sharpe enough to slice with and heavy enough for chopping large game.
