    Description

    TRENT LOTT
(1941-    ) A former United States Senator from Mississippi,
Lott served in numerous leadership positions in both the
United States House of Representatives and the Senate. He entered
Congress as one of the first of a wave of Republicans winning seats
in Southern states that had been solidly Democratic. He became
Senate Majority Leader, then stepped down from power after
praising Strom Thurmond's 1948 segregationist Dixiecrat
presidential bid. 8 x 10 b&w glossy photo, neatly signed,
accompanied by a signed transmittal letter,
    dated March 11, 1976.
Note: I have hundreds more from the 1960s & 70s.
