    Description

    8" x 10" photograph circa 1972 autographed and inscribed by South Carolina Senator Strom Thurmond, who served 48 years and was the only member of either chamber of Congress to reach the age of 100 while still in office. Also a typed letter dated December 11, 1972 on "United States Senate, Committee On Armed Services" letterhead, and a Senate Chamber gallery pass, both signed by him. Letter has three holes punched on the left side, the photo has three holes punched on the right side.
